I was leery at first with the camera and the angle, but after installing (which was rather easy, about 10 mins for physical install, and about 10-15 on the wifi set up). Camera is very good and I can see up and down my whole street. Being able to recall prior recordings (with non expensive subscription) makes this not only good for a door bell, but also for security. 3 zones for motion can be set up so now my cars are also more protected.

I really like that I can automate my house, and using the Echo, it is rather easy to set up. I received a Google Mini, that I tried to set up for 4 days with google help to no avail. Never received a call back, so returned it and got another Echo. I intend to get a third so I have 1 on each floor of my house.

Great upgrade to my 10 year old receiver. Had some issues updating it, but after a couple of days figured it out. Would have assumed it was already updated since the firmware came out 4 months prior. I love the new features and it is 4K and 3D pass through. My volume now shows on my tv so I do not have to squint my eyes trying to see what volume it is on. And now with firmware update I can add Dolby Atmos speakers.

BB installer hooked up my Sony BDP-S570 BR (replacing w/ UBP-X800?) to this tv via hdmi, then optical from tv to my Sony STR-2ADES surr. receiver (no hdmi input). Will I get 5:1 surround sound from BRays and dvds? Hate to replace receiver if unnecessary.
It has been a while since I used optical, but yes you should. Although with newer technology and awesome features this tv paired with a newer 4k receiver would be very easy to use. I got the UBP x700 which was on sale and a smaller and visually better blu ray than the 800 (better bang for the buck). and paired it with the newer STRDH790. I would return the 800 and get the 700 and use that money you saved towards the 790 receiver. You wont be dissapointed and then can have dolby vision and dolby atmos when watching blu ray.
