Vinyl LP pressing. This debut emerged as one of the most influential rap albums of the '90s. It laid the groundwork for the rebirth of New York hip-hop, an underground, hardcore new sound that went on to influence Biggie, Jay-Z, Nas, and Mobb Deep, among others. Rap became at once theatrical and cerebral, MCs lyricists and powerhouses capable of violence, metaphor, humor and revolution in their performing. I grew up on the Hiphop scene and this one here is definitely a must. It just takes me back to 94-95 era where everything was so simple and easy. I had just gone to the Wu's last concert over in Milwaukee and it brought back so many memories. This should be in everyone's collection hands down.
