I've compared this TV specifically against the TCL series 6 and it is most definitely comparable, have all the bells and whistles that today tech TV has, go offer but choose this one against the tcl series 6 due to it having Android TV vs roku, I find it much better and intuitive then roku. In addition, the integration with Google home ecosystem is super easy.

Decent average quality TV

You get what you pay for. I paid 999 and put it in my bedroom. So now I have 85" in my master bedroom, is it the best TV out there? No. Is it bad TV, no. It's a decent quality TV with a massive screen. Supports all the bells and whistles today's tech TV have to offer. It's an android TV so interface is super easy and easy integration with the Google home smart home ecosystem. Quality is not bad at all imho, I knew I am getting an average TV and it is definitely fit the bill for a massive giant 85" TV to put in a, bedroom for casual watching.
