I'm a huge fan of Logitech Mice and I was using the MX Master 3 for the last few years. When it was time to get a new mouse, I only considered the newest MX Master 4 for Mac.
The MX Master mice has, for me, the best ergonomics of any mouse I've ever used. They feel great in your hand, and the customization options are awesome. In particular, the newly released 4 is a major upgrade over the 3 I was using. the materials feel higher quality. There are more customization options, including a haptic feedback button, with multiple options for controlling an application when pressed.
Using the Logi Options Application, you have the ability to control so many features on the mouse, for pointer speed to scroll speed, to volume and many other other options.
The battery is rechargeable and a single charge whould last about 70 days, which is awesome. And just a couple minutes plugged in will give you a few hours use. You can also use the mouse while it's plugged in to charge.
With the MX Master 4, Logitech took everything that was great about the previous generations and made it even better, which is no easy feat. But they did it and I can't recommend this mouse enough!

Apple quality, but leaves a bit to be desired

It's Apple quality. It's Apple expensive. But there are better, lower cost cases out there.
If you own an iPhone 16 model, the new Camera Capture button is treated as a cutout by most other case manufacturers. I wanted a case which provided a way to use it natively, without it being unprotected by a case. So of course, Apple thought of this and has built in a capacitive touch Camera Capture button into their new cases for iPhone 16. And it works perfectly, just like it would work unprotected.
So why did I only give the case 3 stars? The bottom of the case covers the two corners only, while leaving a significant space where the microphone/speaker and USB C charging port are, completely unprotected. If you drop your phone accidentally, you risk dinging your shiny Titanium phone where it is unprotected. I also found the buttons not nearly as clicky as they should be. Otherwise, the case is well made and packaged as you would expect from Apple. It's coated to reduce scratching and it's non-yellowing too.
There are now other case manufactures who have taken the time to build their case with a capacitive touch Camera Control button into their cases and they cost a lot less, so I now have two of them, and they work great, plus provide full protection to the entire outside of the phone.

Wonderful Dryer from GE

We replaced our washer and dryer with a GE set, so we have the matching washer. The dryer is exceptional. While the dryer we just replaced was a modern dryer, it did't do the one thing a dryer should do well, which is dry clothes.
Not so with the GE 7.8 CuFt dryer. It dries our clothes in half the time of our previous dryer. And it's much quieter while doing a better job. We can also dry larger loads of laundry, which is great and will save electricity.
All in all, we're very pleased with this dryer from GE. It's well made, looks great and should provide years of excellent clothes drying service.

The UltraFresh System is Amazing

Our new home has a laundry room with upper cabinets above the washer and dryer. This isn't an issue with the dryer as I'm not sure there are dryers which are top load. But it was a major issue with the washer, which is top load. And the washer/dryer combination we had really didn't good a very good job cleaning or drying our clothes.
So off to BestBuy to see what has changed in front load washers since the last time we had one. The last time, we had one, the seal around the door got moldy and never dried out.
This washer from GE is a major step up in front load technology. GE has built in a system they call UltraFresh Vent System with Microban Antimicrobial Technology. When you finish washing a load, you touch a button and the system runs to dry the seal and drum, so no mold or mildew can ever form. It's incredibly quiet, but it can run for a few hours, depending on the type of load you washed before turning it on.
GE makes this machine in 4.8 cubic feet or 5 cubic feet. For the size of our laundry room, the 4.8 CuFt model was the best option for us. We can wash really large loads, so I'm not really sure if we would have found any benefit to the 5 CuFt model. The only other difference between the two models is the larger model has a large reservoir for liquid detergent, so you don't have to add laundry detergent each time you wash a load of clothes.
Otherwise, this machine is quiet, does an amazing job of washing our clothes and with the UltraFresh Vent system ensures you won't ever get mold in the door seal as is so common with other front load washers.
I have to say we're quite impressed with this washer from GE and expect to get years of use from it.

Love This French Door Refrigerator from LG!

When we moved into our new home just over 4 years ago, we bought top of line appliances from a Cafe. The oven, microwave and dishwasher have been fine. The refrigerator on the other hand was a disaster. It broke on average once every 6 months. While under warranty, it was fixed and we did purchase a 3 year extended warranty. But out of warranty it broke big time and I had had enough and wasn't willing to pay to fix it.
So I did a lot of research and found most agree that LG makes the most reliable refrigerators. Our Cafe had hot water in the door, cold water and ice dispenser on the door. They broke a lot. And for a lot of money, it only held 21 cubic feet, which is just not very large. We need counter depth for our kitchen cabinets.
This refrigerator from LG holds 26.5 cubic feet of food and the difference is amazing in terms of how much more food we can store. It does have a water dispenser and ice maker, but you have to open the refrigerator door to get water and the freezer compartment to get ice. Both work great and are much less likely to break with use. The ice maker in particular is amazing. It makes large, old fashioned cubes like the type of cubes you'd get from an old fashioned ice tray you filled with water years ago. And it holds a significant amount of ice.
LG makes this refrigerator anti-fingerprint and it really is. We were constantly wiping finger prints off the Cafe. The binds are large enough to hold a lot of produce or prepared foods. And since there is no ice/water dispenser in the door, every one of the interior side shelves are gallon jug size, so you can really fill them up, which also adds to the interior space in the refrigerator.
All in all, for nearly 50% of what we paid for the Cafe, this is just a much better refrigerator in every respect. Sometimes, simple is better. And we couldn't be happier!

Nothing Beats Apple Watch

This watch replaced my Apple Watch 7, which there was honestly nothing wrong with to begin with. But I tend to upgrade my watch on a two year cycle and the 9 is a good upgrade over the 7.
I've been wearing Apple Watch, since the series 3. I honestly don't wear any other of my watches, since getting Apple Watch. I prefer the stainless model, because stainless is indestructible and the screen is Sapphire glass, which is almost impossible to scratch.
While the 9 doesn't look different from the 7 it replaced, there are some great upgrades, which made it a worthwhile upgrade. Storage doubled from 32gb to 64gb and the new SIP (Processor) is a significant bump in performance. Siri is now available offline and with the double tap feature enabled only the new Series 9 and Ultra 2, you can use gestures to do things like answer a phone call with a double tap of your fingers. This can be very useful if are in a situation where your other hand is occupied.
Otherwise, in typical Apple fashion, the watch is outstanding as on would expect. I get more than a full days charge on a single charge. The screen is brigther and easier to read in bright sunlight. And as would be expected of an product in the Appleverse, it all syncs between all your other Apple devices.
My swiss mechanical watches are very jealous of this technological marvel. It's just so incredibly useful even for just telling the time, but for so much more.

It's Simply A Great Printer

I don't know about you, but over the last few years, we've not had great success with printers lasting. Our last printer, which cost close to $500 made it just 14 months, before the Wifi Radio died in it, making it impossible to print wirelessly. And it was a top brand printer from a top brand company. So I did a lot of research, and found people simply were happier with an Epson printer and seem to have fewer issues and they simply last longer.
We chose this Epson EcoTank ET-4850 for a few reasons. There is one model just below it, which is pretty much identical, but instead of a touch screen, it has physical buttons you have to use to get to things like scan or copy or print. For the few extra dollars, this just seemed a more complete package for convenience of use.
Setting it up is simple. At least it was for us. You download the Epson Smart Panel App from your iOS or Android Smart phone. You fill the tanks with the liquid ink, which is beyond simple and pretty much idiot proof. I mean you just open the bottles, turn then upside and place the color on the color coded reservoirs in the printer and the ink self discharges to fill the ink chamber. Then the app walks you through connecting it to your network (though I did make the mistake of using Wifi Direct, which I shouldn't have and easily switched to standard Wifi connection) and soon you're aligning the print heads and printing out test pages (it does have you print out several test pages and you choose which option looks best to your eyes - which was a bit confusing). And then voila, it's set up and ready to use.
The ink supplied is enough for up to two years of hassle free printing. No more buying little cartridges, which are expensive and need replacing far too often. The ET-4850 offers fax, productive paper handling, a high-resolution flatbed scanner, and convenient 2.4" color touchscreen, fax (if anyone actually still faxes - we don't!) and holds up to 250 sheets of printer paper. Epson says the printer can print up to 7,500 pages black or 6,000 pages color which is equivalent to about 90 individual ink cartridges. That's SIGNIFICANT for sure.
In terms of printing, which is after all the most important aspect of a printer, Epson uses a unique "PrecisionCore Heat-Free Technology" and "Claria ET pigment black ink to produce extremely sharp text – plus impressive color photos and graphics." While I'm not quite sure what that all means, I can tell you it prints exceedingly well with nice crisp text and colors.
All said, I'm extremely impressed with this Epson EcoTank ET-4850. And with a worry-free 2-year limited warranty with registration, including full unit replacement. How could you go wrong! This printer gets a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED rating from me for sure!

I'd Give Apple Watch Ultra 10+ Points If I Could

I’m most definitely NOT who this watch was designed for. I’m not going to dive the depths of the ocean. I won’t be climbing any mountains or skiing down them in the winter. I won’t be running a marathon or hiking some trail. Nope, Apple didn’t design this watch with me in mind. And yet, here I am gushing over this watch and think it is perhaps the coolest watch I’ve ever owned. And I’ve owned Apple Watch since Apple Watch 3, then 4, then 6, then 7 and now Ultra.
So why do I love this Apple Watch Ultra? Let me count the ways. It’s incredibly made as one would expect of any product from Apple. It’s the first redesign of Apple Watch since it was introduced in 2015. The body, which is made in pure Titanium us simply beautiful, with a matt finish, except in the raised bezel around the watch face, which is highly polished. It’s beautiful, to say the least. The watch face is Sapphire, which is next to diamond in hardness. And after only owning Apple Watch in Stainless Steel, which also included a Sapphire Crystal, I can tell they don’t scratch. Period. They don’t.
The watch face is 2” of pure brightly lit bliss. For the first time, I can actually read my email and text messages, without having to squint my eyes to read (even with prescription glasses on). It’s bright. I mean REALLY bright and can go up to 2000 nits in bright sunlight and is for the first time completely readable outdoors.
The design of the watch is beefier and includes a larger digital crown. The crown and power button are encapsulated in Titanium to protect both and the crown is simply easier to operate. The battery, OMG, the BATTERY is simply amazing. With my Series 7, I could just barely get through a day’s use. But this puppy has a battery which is 76% bigger than any battery Apple has plucked in an Apple Watch, and I can go not just all day, but all next day and even into a 3rd day, without need to recharge. I used to obsess over how much charge was remaining in my Series 7. No longer. Worrying about whether you have enough charge is a thing of the past.
There is an elongated orange button on the left side of the watch, called the Activity Button. You can choose from multiple options, such as start a workout all the way to a Flashlight. Since I’m not the outdoorsy, workout kind of guy, mine is programmed to Flashlight, which is actually pretty handy. Using the Shortcut App, on your iPhone, there are some ways to program the Activity Button to do other things, like call a specific person. As a new function button on Apple Watch, we can expect more functions and programmability in the future.
Included in the watch is everything Apple has to offer in terms of Fitness and Health. On the health side, ECG, Heart Rate Monitoring (including sensing A-Fib) and Blood Oxygen levels. For sleep tracking, Apple has added a temperature sensor to the watch, but it was more designed for ladies tracking ovulation and doesn’t actually display your wrist temperature. Instead, it tracks your sleep (if you want it to and you wear it at night, while you sleep) and after a few days will show your baseline body temperature over the course of multiple nights.
Also new for Apple Watch is a unique, dual band GPS, which if you are an adventurer will better pinpoint your location and Car Crash Sensors, if you’re in an accident. I have read reports where the Car Crash Sensor can be triggered on roller coasters, so if you’re a theme part goer, you should turn off Crash Detection before the loopty-doo coaster alerts the authorities you’ve been in accident.
Apple redesigned the microphones and speakers on the Ultra. They’ve added a triple microphone array and dual speakers. Phone calls are now so clear, nobody is remotely aware I’m speaking from my watch. In addition, Apple Watch Ultra features a new dual precision GPS system, which provides amazing accuracy in the most remote locations.
Apple created three unique bands for Apple Watch Ultra. I ordered mine to arrive with the Orange Alpine band. I like it, it’s comfortable, but I don’t love it. It only weighs like 12 grams, so you can barely feel something on your wrist. But it uses a titanium loop to lock the watch band in place and in order to put on or take off the watch with the Alpine Loop, you have to extend the band very wide and the Titanium Loop can actually smack the side of your beautiful Titanium Watch, which I don’t like. So, I picked up the Ocean Band in Yellow, which is super comfy, doesn’t have any way to clank the side of your watch and is super cool looking. If you’ve been wearing Apple Watch and you own one in 42, 44 or 45mm, any band you already own will work just fine on this new 49mm Ultra. I have ordered a few higher end aftermarket bands, including one very pricy pure Titanium band to dress the watch up when I don’t want to look like an adventurer.
I could likely keep going, but I hope you get the sense I’m beyond happy with the new Apple Watch Ultra. My wrist isn’t all that large at 7.25” and it looks great on me. And even though it’s larger than a 45mm Apple Watch, it only weighs .3 ounces more. Titanium is a more durable metal than Stainless Steel, but weighs less than Stainless Steel.
Don’t let the marketing hype dissuade you. Sure, this watch will do fantastic things for people into extreme sports. But it’s just as fantastic for non-athletic people, like me. Apple not only hit a home run with Apple Watch Ultra. They hit it out of the ballpark all the way into Space. Is it worth $799. Yes, Yes and Yes. If it cost more, it would still be worth the price of admission.

What you need for a Blumenthal Gas Grill

Nothing exciting here, but if you own an Everdure by Heston Blumenthal gas grill, once the original aluminum drip tray wears out, you'll need replacements. They are not standard size, but are instead proprietary sized and finding them in your local Home Depot will prove impossible.
BestBuy to the rescue and they stock them (they also sell the grill), so I bought two dozen and don't think I'll be in need of them for a long time to come.
They fit perfectly as they should.

It's Belkin - It's Made For Magsafe - It's Great

One might think getting a charger, which is MagSafe, I mean "really" MagSafe, for your iPhone and which also charges your earbuds would be simple. But trust me when I say that it has not been simple in the least. Why you might wonder? For one, most charging stands you can find out there are actually NOT MagSafe chargers. Yes, they are magnetic, but a true MagSafe charger is MFM (Made For MagSafe) certified and will charge your iPhone at a maximum 15 watts, which is confirmed by the MagSafe Charging Circle appearing once placed atop the charger. Aside from Apple branded chargers, most other chargers really aren't truly MagSafe. But this Belkin charger uses Apple's true MagSafe proprietary technology and is MFM Certified. After buying three 3rd party chargers, which all claimed to be MagSafe, but weren't, I returned them and ponied up the $100 for this Belkin Boost Charge Pro 2-in-1 Wireless Charger Stand.
Another issue I found with the three chargers I bought was they are all designed for Apple AirPods specifically. I'm not sure why every manufacturer seems to assume you must own AirPods if you want a MagSafe charger for your iPhone? News flash charging stand makers, there are other earbuds out there, some which cost even more, which also sound better than AirPods. Why does this matter you might want to know? My fantastic Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 earbuds wouldn't charge on any of the chargers. To be honest, I was concerned whether they would on this Belkin Boost Charge Pro charger. Did they? Read on and I'll tell you.
YES, it charges my Sennheiser earbuds. I actually did a lot of research on this part. And all Belkin would say is they were designed and tested with AirPods. Turns out other than the fact this 2-in-1 charger was for the most part designed to precisely fit the shape of AirPods in their case, and my Sennheiser doesn't fit the spot, they do in fact charge. They charge because the charging pad for earbuds is Qi Standard outputting 5 Watts. My case may not fit (it actually doesn't fit in the space at all), but it charges, which means just about every earbud case which is engineered to charge via Qi Standard on 5 watt chargers will charge on this Belkin stand. So why oh why can't they make the charging plate flat, as opposed to only catering to AirPods? There's more than enough space on the large base to accommodate all sizes of earbud cases. But I suppose to be able to sell this stand in Apple Stores, Belkin chose to emphasize AirPod charging. Trust me however, this will charge ANY earbud case which uses standard Qi at 5 Watts. It also charged my Jabra Elite 85t in the case.
This Belkin Charger is everything it should be for $100. My iPhone 13 Pro Max in a MagSafe Case attaches firmly and charges perfectly. You can rotate the phone easily from portrait to landscape. I like that there is no light when you put the phone on to charge. You don't need a charging light to glow at night. It shows the MagSafe Circle at startup and that's all it needs to show. On the other hand, there is a little light when you're charging earbuds. It's White if it's actually charging properly. It's Amber if it's not charging properly or there's a foreign object which shouldn't be there (like a metal object, such as keys).
Is there anything I'd change? Yes. As already mentioned, there's no reason to make the earbud charging pad fit AirPod's only. AirPods would charge just fine on a flat charging plate. They would charge on any Qi standard 5 Watt charger. I would also have preferred Belkin used a standard USB C to USB C cord with a charging brick. Instead, Belkin uses a proprietary cord with a barrel connector on the underside of the charging stand, which is fixed to an oversized, but clearly perfectly engineered plug for the device. The issue with this is you can't just go out to Amazon or your favorite Best Buy store and buy a replacement cable if for example, your cat or dog decides to chomp their way through the cable. And the base of the stand is large. I imagine part of the reason for this is to make it very stable on your desk, which it is. I can put the phone and off without having to hold the base at the same time. Still, it's a really large base, which could have permitted a larger area for charging earbuds. And one more small nit. The MagSafe charger itself doesn't rotate. While positioning is great, there may be times when you'd like to alter the angle of the phone on the charger, but you can't.
Nits out of the way, there's no question Belkin is a top tier brand. They have to be if Apple sells their products directly. And while there are plenty of 3rd party much less expensive 2-in-1 charging stands, there are NONE as capable and well made as this. There's an old saying, which suggests "you get what you pay for." This experience has proven this to be quite true. The stand is made of high quality materials, does exactly what I needed and should last a long time. I hope this helps you avoid the same mistakes I made. If you're looking for a TRUE MagSafe charging stand which can also charge your earbuds, buy this charger and get on with your life.

We recently moved into a brand new home and chose the Cafe line of Appliances. This 1.7 Cu. Ft Convention Microwave compliments the other Cafe appliances and is excellent.
It has a unique control panel. You don't enter the time to cook via a control panel keypad. You tap cook time and turn the round knob, which adds 15 seconds per click of the know. Then you push the knob in once and press start. It's different than we've had in other microwaves, but once you get used to it, works quite well.
It's very spacious inside and in addition to normal microwave functions, it's a convection oven as well. This will really come in handy during the holidays when oven space is at a premium and you need to cook casserole dishes.
The interior is dark and won't show dirt as easily as lighter interior microwaves. You have all the preset options you need and you can dial in the the food you're planning to cook and the microwave determines the correct time and power automatically.
Little things make a big difference too. The vent fan on most microwaves we've owned are obnoxiously loud. Not on this Cafe appliance. It vents really well and you can actually talk and be heard when it's on. The under-microwave lights are two levels and provide good light to the range burners below.
All in all, this is a great compliment to the Cafe appliances in our kitchen. Note that this appliance must be in high demand and came a few weeks after the other appliances came. If you're buying Cafe appliances, you may have to wait a bit longer for the microwave, but to us, it was well worth the wait.

I was reviewing all of my new appliances and somehow attached the wrong picture of our Cafe dishwasher instead of the microwave. I don't see how I can update my review to show the microwave.

The bottom drawer (I'm assuming you mean the freezer drawer, doesn't open further out than the top two refrigerator french doors, so as long as you can open the top two doors, you'll have no issue with the bottom freezer drawer.

What does vented, recirculating mean in your specs? We need a recirculating unit.
It means it can installed as a recirculating exhaust. If that is what you need, then this will work for you. From the installation guide:
Ventilation Options: The microwave ovens are designed for adaptation to
the following three types of ventilation:
-Outside exhaust (vertical – as shown)
-Outside exhaust (horizontal)
-Recirculating (non-vented ductless – see Filter Kit drawing)

Can this microwave be used as built in unit? If not why doesn’t cafe make a built in microwave?
If you go out to www.cafeappliances.com they do make built-in microwaves. Whether you can buy an install kit for this particular microwave which was clearly designed to be installed as an over-the-counter microwave, I have no clue. You should contact Cafe directly for an answer to that.

This model is advertised with a warming drawer. In the Q&A, 5 months ago, there is a comment that this is incorrect, and it is a storage drawer only, but the description still lists it as such. Is it or isn’t it??
It IS a Warming Drawer. There is even an on/off control button in the control panel.

What color are the LED cooktop lights (e.g., 2700k)? Are the LED cooktop lights replaceable? If so, what's the bulb type?
From the owners manual it is not listed in xxxxk. The LED light is however, replaceable per the following directions:
Cooktop Light/Nite Light
Replace with LED lamp. See back cover for ordering
online at cafeappliances.com.
1 To replace the cooktop light/nite light, first disconnect
the power at the main fuse or circuit breaker panel,
or pull the plug.
2 Remove the screw from the side of the light
compartment cover and lower the cover until it stops.
3 Be sure the LED lamp is cool before removing.
Remove a screw and connector from LED lamp.
4 Connect LED lamp and secure using the screw.
Raise the light cover and replace the screw. Connect
electrical power to the oven.
