This version for the PS4 has been redone from the ground up and it is absolutely stellar! The controls are even better than they've always been and the graphics are simply gorgeous! BUY THIS!

Revisit the original Dreamcast series that launched an action RPG empire with Shenmue I & II for PlayStation 4. An updated user interface provides streamlined gaming experiences, and a choice of modern or classic controls lets you decide how to experience each adventure. Fun fact: I bought a Dreamcast back in the day and LOVED it! The first console I was able to hook-up to a computer monitor. At the time, that was top of the line. And Shenmue was it's crowing achievement. The games don't hold up quite as well - the dialogue leaves a lot to be desired - David Mamet this ain't. And the controls are a bit cumbersome. Saying that, there are very few games that nail the atmosphere of small-town life as well as Shenmue does.

I miss the single-player campaign

Fun fact: I've bought every single Call of Duty game ever. LOVE this series. The most fluid controls of any 1st person shooter out there. Black Ops 4 has no real single-player campaign apart from fighting AI bots in the game's maps and that's the only real knock against the game since I've always loved playing through the single-player campaigns. Saying that, everything else about this is top-notch: Zombies is better and deeper than ever and Blackout is a TON of fun!

Fun fact: I've played and enjoyed every single Assassin's Creed Ubisoft has ever released. Odyssey is my favorite in the series right after Origins. It's all about location, location, LOCATION. I just love LIVING in these worlds that Ubisoft has created. The controls are SO smooth and fluid and the story in Odyssey is so layered and deep. LOVE this game!
