impressive sound from soundbar

I paired this soundbar with a LG 55" OLED TV, and wanted better sound than from TV speakers, basic external stereo speakers, or a low-cost soundbar. This soundbar was easy to pair its wireless subwoofer, connect the optical fiber from the TV, and set the TV's remote to operate the soundbar. After reading the owner's manual, I figured out how to use (turn on) the center speaker by turning on the "Surround" function, as I don't have rear speakers. Next, there are four "Sound Effect" options: AI, Standard, Bass Blast, and DTS Virtual Surround. I selected DTS as this sounded the best for several different programs. Results: excellent frequency response, channel separation, and good bass at low and high volume levels. Highly recommended.

We replaced our 55 inch curved 4K LED TV with this 55 inch 4K OLED. The prior TV's 4K was impressive for having a sharp picture. Having this new OLED TV for about two months now, I can say the following about the picture: stunning for color gamut and contrast to dark and absolute black (no light). I did not change the factory settings for the picture. Every time I first look at or turn on this TV, I immediately notice both the color and contrast ( I'm used to the image sharpness of 4K). This OLED TV has a distinct (noticeable) and significantly better color gamut and contrast than my prior TV. Highly recommended, and worth the price.

Will this soundbar fit underneath or in front of a LG CX 48" Display Stand? Would you recommend additional speakers to go with it? I'm setting it up in a medium size bedroom.
I purchased a LG CX 55" and this soundbar. The LG CX 48" and the LG CX 55" have the same distance from the lower screen to bottom of their stands (1.3"), and both stands have a depth of 9.9". Since this soundbar only has a depth of 3.4", neither TV's stand can be placed on top of this soundbar. Since this soundbar's height is 2.2", it will block the lower part of the TV screen (block 0.9") if placed in front of the TV stand on the same surface the TV is sitting on.
To solve this problem, I build a wood platform that sits over the soundbar, and has 10" depth for the entire TV stand to sit on. The attached picture shows my stand turned upside-down, so that the opening for the soundbar can be seen.
