Funny movie

I never saw the original Shaft back in 1971, but this is a typical Samuel Jackson type of role. He’s funny and a little crude at the same time. A nice cameo role by the original Shaft as grandpa.

Surprisingly good!

I saw that they won many major awards for this movie so I decided to buy it. Even though it had subtitles, it was easy to follow and kept our interest throughout the whole movie.
I won’t spoil the ending, but it wasn’t what I expected!

I owned an older model Logitech Harmony remote that I had to program each device, each step, etc. This new remote takes all the hassle out and turns everything on quickly.
The only drawback is that you have a charging station for the remote instead of batteries. And, sometimes it’s a little finicky when you press the touch screen... especially when I listen to music.
Other than that, I’m happy with this newer model.

Most of the cameras work perfectly, but some don’t have enough signal strength to the sync module... even if it’s only 15 feet away. Maybe because it’s behind a patio cover beam?
I do agree with other reviewers that you need to buy another brand of camera mounts for a more secure fit.

It happens around Christmas time, but it’s not all about Christmas. It’s kind of a love story, and has a deeper meaning at the end. Good actors, great George Michael music, etc. I won’t spoil the ending... but what a surprise!!!

Mixed feelings

We bought a new refrigerator because of our one died. Luckily, they could deliver it the ne t day. We paid for them to haul away the old one too. The delivery guys were good, but they said they didn’t have paperwork to pick up the old one. I called and they apologized and sent out another truck about three days later. The driver called about 30 minutes before and asked what he was picking up. The paperwork didn’t say what it was. Anyway, they picked it up... I was nice enough to haul it out of my kitchen and put it on the side yard for them for easy access.
