bought a Sandisk MicroSD card for a new phone. I have never had a problem with any Sandisk product. Same is true for this one.

I have always used a trackball instead of a mouse and now it is wireless.

can i hard wire gps onto a rocker panel instead of using power port (lighter) i understand that it would be permanent and not mobile. thanks

No - not without some gymnastics. You need a 5 volt in on the port, if you wired direct it would be 12 volt. Not a good idea. You could put a switch in front of the power port and turn the power point on and off that way. That would be possible but not easy if the power port is factory installed and you would still have to plug into the power point or USB . The USB might also switch on the data mode on the GPS and it would expect to upload or download data, not run the GPS. Lots of problems.
