I had it on shortest route and it quit suggesting saving a mile instead of bypassing a town on an interstate after I ignored its first suggestions. Lots of options and will take a while to learn but will instantly get you to your destination with little effort.

Can I use this strictly as a CD player and hook it up directly to my receiver and speakers without a TV?
It will work as a CD player without being hooked to a TV but you will need a TV to run setup and to update the player. Once setup is done you can use as cd player without TV. It might not need setup if it plays CD the first time you hook it up, I do not know whether it will or not play without setup. However, after setup it will play for sure without a tv.

Does this hard drive work for Dell Inspiron One 2305?

Does this hard drive work for Dell Inspiron One 2305?
I installed it in a Dell XPS. You need a SATA connection, you do not say how old your dell is but SATA is the normal hard drive connection for several years. The WD blue is SATA 3 but is backward compatible with SATA 1 & 2. The only different is a slower speed with the older SATA standards. If you don't know what your hard drive donnection is you can download HWINFO, just search for hwinfo and install. It is recognized by norton as a safe program. When you install and run it will give you tons of info about your computer including whether you have a SATA or other hard drive connection. I cannot guarantee results as you have to know how to initialize hard drives, format them or know how to clone them. But you can learn all of that from the internet.
