I usually prefer studio albums, but Simon & Garfunkle Live 1969 is a real exception, especially track 12 (Bridge Over Troubled Waters). The audience had not yet heard this brand new song and their response is electrifying. Better yet, the performance is exquisite.

The Big Bang Theory combines the right amount of slapstick, fine acting, and creative writing to warrant comparison with other great sitcoms. It's both timeless and timely, insightful and nuanced. The postscripts by Chuck Lorre are too long for broadcast TV, so the CDs are really useful to pause.

just had a new Samsung range delivered and does not sit flush against the wall like my old range did. It looks like the cord is getting in the way between the back of the range and the wall. Are there shorter cords or should floor outlet be moved to wall

How long is electrical cord
The cord is 36" long from the bottom of the unit, but it covers the first 2.5" if plugged in from left side, and 4.5" if plugged in from right side. If you run cord to back of unit, you lose 8", and if plugged in from the front you lose 1.5" -- but that would not be a good look.
