This doorbell camera is a fantastic edition to my system and something I wish I had never waited for it to go on sale to purchase. Consistently capturing motion, rings to my phone if someone hits the doorbell and even identifies animal or human movement and alerts you to this.

Incredible machine, this thing cooks and the graphics are above and beyond what was expected. Sony really puts out a top quality product and has since the start. there is a reason I have been a loyal PlayStation person, the quality and value in the product and this newest iteration is right in line with what was expected. My only gripe? It is on the larger size.

As the months went on this unit started having problems and at the 8 month ownership mark I was done with it. It is extremely noisy and has an odd smell as well, the convection on it is worthless and it produces the strange odor more when using the convection. This thing overheats so bad I worry it will catch fire so now it sits unplugged and out of service in the house. Spend your money on another unit, save a headache.
