Great Picture, and has lots of good points. My big issue is cross Brand scenarios with the Remote programming. The remote seems to be the least “smart device” that manufacturers provide, Although the remote has a lot of features, including “pre-set streaming” buttons, it still doesn’t play well with others in the “sand box”. We , with our new Sony XR A95 HDR , are having to use three(3) remotes. Ann we are still working on the sequence of the “turn on” phase”. Turning on one component works until a second device is “turned on”, which often turns off the previous component. As an example, we start with the Bose Audio system, then the DirectTV Gox/system, then when the TV fires up we tap the buttons on the Sony TV remote.
The results of the steps above are somewhat erratic, requiring us to try different buttons.
IT’S A WORK IN PROGRESS, and we will soon need to contact Best Buy Geek Squad.
