This official Sony PS5 media controller is small, poorly constructed, and cheaply made. I'm very disappointed in the tiny size and build quality. Even the snap on rear battery cover has a flimsy and awkward design.
If you are desperate for an OEM media controller for your new PS5, then sure, pick it up. If you don't need one right away and you value great design in every tech purchase you make, then wait it out for another iteration down the road that is of a higher quality.
