This unit shares many design and build characteristics as its semi-professional cousin the Tascam CD recorder, at half the cost. The only drawback I've found is the VU meter has fewer elements, so it's less graduated in it's readout. Nonetheless, it's built to last.

This is a real 'for the ages' title to have. Just don't roll out a 4K on this and I'll be happy that I spent my money wisely. Listen to the words that Cronkite uses in his reportage... he wrote all of it! The 65mm transfer of the crowds at launch will really put you there. It's uncanny how fresh it looks.

I purchased this disc because I am a big fan of Tim Burton. But even for him, it's a big let-down. There are big gaps in the narrative, needless variances from the original story, and a tremendous waste of a noteworthy cast. That said, it is a spectacular looking disc, just a really thready plot. Congratulations to the animation team that did Dumbo's eyes... remarkable!

This is the property that generated the rebirth of the animation at Disney. A deceptively simple effort that reveals great depth in composition, casting, music, and giving the public what they needed at the right time. Without the success of this movie, none of the following juggernauts in animation would have been possible. Part Of Your World is the most memorable and sincere effort in the entire catalog. Not a standout title for 4k demos because of its age, it is still THE most important modern day effort from Disney to date. Extraordinary, Pure, and Powerful! A+++

I've purchased this unit to replace one of my NT-5 Sony soundbars.
The NT-5 soundbar series has a serious design flaw and Sony has discontinued them without admitting the issue, I suppose for financial reasons, despite repairs on multiple occasions. This CT800 shares many of the NT-5's features with fewer watts, fewer drivers, for fewer dollars. The main reason I bought this unit is that it is one of the few soundbars that is compatible with Sony's ZR-5 surround speakers (over $300 for the pair … also discontinued) so I need to ride this out. When these soundbars are up and running, they are good performers; when NOT, they are good doorstops. I'm completely brand-loyal to Sony, much to my disadvantage at times.
