My washer just keeps washing ,but it doesn't go through the cycles an is stuck on 46 minutes .
Try this, unplug the power to the washer for 20 seconds then plug it back in. If that doesn’t work you may need a service tech

I have a washer/dryer pair of Kenmore Elite HE machines. Both are on 15" pedestals. Will these older pedestals be able to fit this model of Whirlpool washer/dryer?
Most Kenmore washers and dryers were not made by Sears but some other company for Kenmore. That being said, the pedestals should fit since most pedestals are not brand specific, however, there are some differences between Whirlpool and GE but they should work fine

Is there a drain and spin cycle? Or a spin cycle other than what is included with a regular wash? I wash my mattress pad covers and I always need to drain and spin them a few extra times. My current washer only has a rinse and spin option which is useless
The rinse and spin should do the job if you have the spin speed set to HIGH. If you do not have this option then you may have a problem with your washer that may require a service tech. If your maters cover is that large or bulky then you may need to go to a commercial laundromat to wash your mattress pad

No, there is no internal water heater in a washing machine. Only dishwashers have heating elements to warm the water

What is the maximum spin cycle speed?
The washing machine will have a default spin speed for the type of clothes (and program you have chosen). Wool will require a slower spin speed (around 600-800rpm), synthetic will need around 800-1000 rpm and cotton will need 900-1400rpm. It will all depend upon what you are washing and the setting on your washer

What dimension drip pan will fit this washer? a 32" (Width) x 30"(Depth) is too wide for my closet. The pan can't be turned as it has a removable front lip so the washer can be installed easily.
Typical you would want a drip pan that is at least 2 inches wider On either side than the washers itself. If you are dealing with a confined space then you definitely have an issue since the drip pan is very size specific and you don’t want to remodel the washer space. Most front loading washers are sealed so leakage is very uncommon and as long as you have new hoses for the hot and cold and you have your drain hose in the stand pipe and if the stand pipe is the right height then you should not have any issues with leakage
