I’m loving this laptop, I haven’t had a MacBook since 2007 or so and this is night and day. I’m still re-learning my way around macOS, but the power of this machine is more than I need, I haven’t even made the fans kick on. Very pleased with my purchase…so much I bought my son one as well. Battery life is amazing, screen is great, integration into the apple ecosystem makes me giggle, speakers are the best I’ve ever heard on a laptop.

Huge upgrade over my Honeywell t5. I use HomeKit and this one actually communicates with HomeKit effectively.
I love that it shows the humidity and can overcool to reach a humidity goal as I live on a body of water. So humidity is always a concern. The remote sensor is another great feature. Our house is much more comfortable with this thermostat. I definitely recommend.

I really like these, the noise cancellation is good and I love how easy it is to toggle between cancellation and none. I've actually been using them to all but eliminate loud exhaust noise from my racecar, while still hearing important things. great for work, etc.
one glaring issue is the size, if you have small ears these are larger in ear than the OG airpods I used to have, and that may be a problem. They come with 3 sizes of silicone tips. I use the smallest. I can't imagine how massive a persons ear must be to require the large size.

Rewind 25-30yrs ago and I was playing a Sega handheld. This is like a newer version of that. Simple to use and loads of fun. I’m sure it has more capability than I’ll ever understand. Love that you can dock it and play on your TV as well.

This was my review for the switch itself. On the grip, it’s pretty awesome. I definitely recommend this grip to make the switch for normal sized adult hands.
One suggestion is when you’re taking the switch out of this grip. Remove the control pads then remove the switch itself from the grip. If you don’t do this you’re putting a large amount of force on the connection between the switch and the controllers.

The "C" wire on my current setup has been hijacked by the AC system. The installer had converted the 5 wires coming off my furnace to a 4 wire cable the runs up to the current Thermostat. Will the adapter be able to work with this environment?

Does the alternative c wire adaptor mean I need to snake a wire through the wall from my Tatat through the attic and to my heating cooling unit?
No. The adapter is very odd to me and the instructions took some interpretation.
Basically for the adapter to work you will have to get to the air handler. And the air handler needs to have a power source for the “c” wire. (My unit for exaplme doesn’t use a board with marked “r,c,w,g,y” terminals. And I found it much easier to just install a new thermostat wire with 5 leads). The adapter allows you to use your existing 4 wire thermostat wiring, it just changes how they are used to make sure the thermostat itself has power.

We only have 2 wires inside the wall where the old thermostat is. Can i install this thermostat? I see there is some kind of adapter, does this resolve that issue and how does it work? It sounds like it needs to be installed on the actual furnace?
