It was Okay for me. My wife liked it more than I did. I have never seen the first IT (TV version) , but my wife has (she was VERY disappointed in the TV version IT!) and she says this one is MUCH BETTER than the TV version IT was. She has also read the First IT book as well. She did like the book, until the end.
I thought this would be a lot scarier then it was. Pennywise in this one was better (scarier) looking then the simple clown face that was in the first IT that I have seen pics of since I have never seen the first IT.
Wife would give this a 4 and Half Stars!
It will be interesting to see the IT 2 of this IT movie when it comes out. I will be looking forward to it. Maybe I will like it more than this one.
Would I still recommend it to others? Of course, as they might like it more than I did.

A movie that makes you think long after watching!

I have always been fascinated with anything AI (Robotics and Computers included) and is what brought me to this movie in the first place. The effects and the cinematography both were great. This is definitely a movie that will make you think after watching it and what "could be" and some of the stuff we already are starting to have available now in AI. Yes, now!
It's a movie that will keep your attention with many engaging moments, eerie twists and great performance from the actors and actresses. This movie will keep you guessing, questioning and hoping. A lot of very interesting questions being raised in this movie about AI for sure.
Definitely worth seeing more than once as you will see something you missed the first time. :) I really hope they make another movie of this as they left it open enough that there very well could be a second movie.

Another Fantastic movie done by Clint Eastwood. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie and even loved the comical moments in the movie as well. Clint still even at his age, can bring it and get the job done very well!
Clint's character and storyline both were FANTASTIC! Great acting thru-out the movie, it does not disappoint at all.

Good fun comedy at times. I enjoyed watching this movie. It is a movie to watch at least once I think though. This is not a movie I would seek to watch over and over again. As another reviewer said it does have some dumb parts, but for me that's not a bad thing considering this is about comedy. The funny parts make the movie worth seeing at least once.

This movie is a fantastic work of complete fear. Doing a movie like this brings the audience closer to the family and makes you feel for every character and what they are experiencing. This movie puts you on the edge of your seat in some parts.
It is very well made. I am hoping that a part 2 is made and possibly give us a little back story as to how these creatures came to be. It will also be great to see where this story goes from here and if life can get back to normal for all.
Would I recommend this movie? Yes. Enjoyed it very much and the cast did a fantastic job throughout. It was very well made.
