A forgotten martial arts classic. Showdown features Billy Blanks in a film that feels more like the Karate Kid than anything else. Lots of special features in this one and we would expect nothing else from MVD. A true gem right and praise to MVD for giving the film a proper blu ray release.

Van Damme double the fun

MVD continues there reign as the provider of these 90s martial arts films. Double Impact is one of Van Damme's films that made his a superstar. He plays both characters of Alex and Chad in a film about honor and redemption. Filmed in HK it does have some funny one liners by Van Damme and him showcasing his high kicks.

MVD Continues to give us the classics

This is the last film I thought MVD would have chosen to release. Yet here we are. To be honest I didnt really care for the DD movie that much. The MVD film is loaded with extra features. I guess if your a fan of the 90s and maybe an early showcasing of Mark Dacascos then this one is for you.

Hannibal receives a proper blu ray release

Hannibal finally gets a proper blu ray courtesy of KL. Most of the special features that were featured on the original DVD release are here. One thing I wish Ridley Scott would have done was edit most of the deleted scenes back into the film. Still I cannot complain too much. I am thankful we received this classic on blu ray at all.

Dolph Lundgren Returns to B-Movie Form

Dolph returns to his B-Movie genre in this insane movie appropriately titled, The Minion. The movie does have some good production values and makes use of Dolph and his commanding presence. However, I felt the film lacked some coherence and the plot went off the rails in the final act. Still if your a die hard Doplh fan then this one is for you.

Finally a hidden classic on Blu Ray

Toy Soldiers is one of those hidden classics from the 90s. Its effectiveness lies in the skill of the actors and the directors ability to create tension up until the last few frames. All of the main characters share chemistry and camaraderie that one would think they actually share a bond both onscreen and off. The villain is played by none other than the brilliant Andrew Divoff. If you havent seen him in a movie or tv show look again, you have seen him in some capacity. Its great they were able to finally release this on blu ray.

Remake of a classic does not disappoint

Its hard to imagine George Romero's classic getting the remake treatment but it sure did not disappoint. Cult Superstar Tony Todd leads the film as Ben. Another horror icon, Tom Savini directs the film. If your a horror film this is one you cannot pass up.
