I tried this with an old Alienware laptop and it wouldn't work properly. However it was easy and quick to hookup and use with my newer Asus laptop via HDMI cable. Instead of using the blue light saver which seemed to darken the screen too much I adjusted the main light in settings to 50% .

Would not work with my old Alienware laptop, but it works very well with newer Asus laptop . Has a setting to lower blue light if desired , but I wasn't impressed with the way that looks so I just lowered the actual light level so it isn't extremely bright but still is easy to see everything.

After having a Kenmore top load with no agitator I finally gave up and got an LG front load that actually works the way it is supposed to thanks to Christa. If you don't want a problem with odor use distilled vinegar in place of softener and dryer sheets. The vinegar saves color in clothes and clears soap in washer.
