Overall this thing looks awesome, it's a dark walnut. Slightly darker than the pictures. A few pieces came chipped, but I was able to order replacements directly from sauder at no charge. They came quickly too, about 4-5 days. Assembly took about 3 hours. Similar to Ikea furniture, but some of the fasteners on this seem flimsy. So far it's holding together well though. It's not perfect, some holes are slightly off but it still fits together.

I bought these to replace my Plantronics RIG 800LX that started having bass distortion issues. So far the sound quality has been phenomenal on these headphones. The comfort level gets a 4/5. They're a little heavy on your head but it just takes some getting used to. I haven't tried them with the mod kit, but at $300 they should come with the mod kit already. If you can afford them, these are the best you can buy for PS4/Xbox.

Firs thing, I don't consider myself an audiophoile, that being said, these speakers sound amazing. I bought the Sony core series initlally and while those were great speakers for the money, once I got the ELACs home and put on the same scene in Thor: Ragnorak on both sets, the ELACs just rose above in every possible way, quality, level, detail. These speakers are rated as the absolute best for money and they definitely earned that title.

So far haven't had any connection issues as have been reported by a lot of people. But the amplifier only puts out 30w per speaker so the sound quality is so so. It's a good temporary solution in an apartment but long term I can't really recommend you use this unless you have low powered speakers.
