Excellent dryer, I did however didn't realize at the time of install that the dryer door was on the wrong side and am going to have to change that, but other than that the dryer does an excellent job and performs great. I recommend this one far more than I would a GE

Much better washer than the GE washer I did have, despite the review I gave it. This washer works much quieter and does a far better job. I would recommend this one far more than I would a GE and if I could change my GE reviews I would, but not being able to do so, I have to leave them like they are.

Washer install went well, they did a good job. I did find some dust I had to clean up, but no one is perfect, so I can appreciate that. Other than that, they did a great job and made sure that the units didn't hit the gas line that comes out of the wall (built into the house), for proper safety.

How do you increase the sound of the chime when the dryer is finished?
I haven't yet tried to do this. Where it sits in my house I can hear it in the office I sit in when it goes off quite well like it is needed. I would think though if you can't find help from Best Buy, your best bet would be to contact the manufacturer and see what assistance they could offer. Having been production myself, most companies "should" offer good assistance with that as the one I worked for always did.

HOW DOES THE LINT SENSORS IN LG DRYERS WORK? DOES A LIGHT GO OFF AFTER SO MANY LOADS, ALERTING HOMEOWNER TO WASH LINT FILTER OR CLEAN OUT VENT BEHIND DRYER? WOULD SENSOR GO OFF IF A BIRD NEST ON A ROOF GUARD BLOCKED AIRFLOW?
Yes a bird's nest would block airflow. As for the others, I have not seen this come up as I haven't been in the room or nearby to see it happen when the dryer has stopped. By the time I come back the dryer is dark. I usually hear it go off and then when finished I will clean out my lint filter to prepare it for next usage at a later date as my mother had taught me to do when she did the wash which made logical sense because it's a better way to keep to units in better operating condition.

Why did my Insignia washer make noise and stop spinning?
If brand new, possibly a manufacturing problem. If Best Buy can't answer it, I would check with the manufacturer themselves. Production problems can happen and get buy but most companies don't like to admit to it, which is why they don't like dealing with me, so check with them on that fact also if nothing else works out. Ultimately no matter how careful a company is, something can go wrong.

According to what I found on the filter itself, the number you should look for is DA97-17376b. To find this number check on the filter itself by removing it and looking there. You can find the part numbers listed there.
