Big HD TVs have gotten so inexpensive but I always say, you get what you pay for. Sure, you can find 65” 4k TVs for less than this one but I don’t trust those cheap sets. You can also find 65” 4k TVs for more. For the money, this TV is a great value. Out of the box, the picture settings were much too bright. It did take some experimentation in get the picture where it looks good in daylight and in the evening. The Smart TV features are very handy. I like being able to access various streaming services without having to buy another device. Overall, I am very pleased with this TV.

So, I’m one of the old-fashioned people who still buys music and movies on disc. I just bought a 4K TV and so I needed to upgrade to a 4K blu-ray player. My previous Blu-ray player was a Samsung and it was excellent, so I saw no reason to go to another brand. This new 4K player does not disappoint. The picture from 4K discs is outstanding. It also supports various apps but I doubt that I will use that feature because it’s easier to use my smart TV.
