I purchased 2 of these to put in my kids rooms so they could video chat with there grandparents, I also installed smart switches to there light fixtures which is connected to Alexa so they can just tell alexa ti turn lights on and off. This is a great feature because 1 child cant reach the light switch yet and the other is afraid of the dark, now they just say Alexa turn on my light. AWSOME!

This is the third one i have recieved, i had the geek squad crew hook everything up the first time. The unit worked for about 5 minutes and then stopped, they said it was a bad/faulty unit so i returned to store and ordered a second one. 2nd unit worked for about 8 months then suddenly started to smoke then died. Now i have a third unit, i will pay to have geek squad come double check there work and we will see what happens. Im fairly confident that the units are just poorly manufactured.

will a recipe from the internet stay on the screen while making the food? unlike my phone or Ipad that i continually have to re sign in ?
Yes. Depending on where you get the recipe from.
I personally say Alexa show me 5 star recipes for bla,bla,bla, usually choose something from food network and then Alexa tells me what to do. I can tell her to pause, scroll etc which is super convenient when my hands are covered in food.
