confused on this product, already had to have service - there's a foul odor and water retains under the filter - was told to leave door open when not in use and to use jet dry and put on sanitizer - never heard this before - very confusing
other brands I've had i past have never left door open while not in use???

I just installed this dishwasher. Due to the first 10 inches of the hose being secured inside the machine, I had to add a second hose to reach my in sink garbage disposer. I ran the dishwasher 1 time and now there is a foul odor in the dishwasher.
did have a foul odor and had someone come back out to look at - they stated once its done running it will pop open - just leave open for awhile ?? doesn't make since, he also said to get jet dry and do a sanitize - news/new to me - have never had this problem before
