The system works fine, but we need security features that weren't available on consumer systems.
The phone system's ability to interact with a spammer or a number that is added by my mother is great. The fact that the phone will determine that the caller is a spammer, and hang up the call without my Mother knowing that anyone dialed her is BIG NEWS!

These movies were great to watch individually, but would likely not be seen again if we didn’t have them physically. Here’s why:
A movie series always seems to have good movies worth seeing repeatably, and so-so good spots in the rest.
A movie series like Mission Impossible, the Marvel universe movies, Pirates in the Caribbean and Wolverine in the X-Men all have parts of one or more movies that provide bits of information that are useful for connecting one series to another. The thing is, we probably would not buy some of those movies just to recapture a cool moment.
Unless it is part of a package like this!
Streaming movies can work well if you have wonderful bandwidth. It is unlikely to work if you are traveling, say, in a motor home going here and there. Available streaming power, purchased at 200Mbps has been whittled down during the Covid-19 Pandemic, so pulling out a BluRay or 4K disc will always have a place in our home - especially if they are already purchased!

The Rocketfish 12-Outlet/2-USB Surge Protector Strip fills a need to protect my high line electronics in my "Man Cave", my home office, and rooms with expensive TVs .
I have always made sure to protect my network equipment, TVs, stereos, computers and network-attached storage using power strips in my various locations, and Network-Attached Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) in my office.
If you are not protecting your expensive equipment, I strongly recommend that you do so!
I would use appropriately sized Surge Protector Strip. If you are also protecting your office, I would plug the Surge Protector Strip into a UPS.
Here are some recommendations and things to know concerning these devices.
1. A UPS is meant to keep selected equipment running when the rest of the house is dark. If you need to keep devices up and running for a specific period of time, size the UPS so it keeps your critical "stay up for x minutes".
2. If you are using Surge Protector Strips in areas which require them, there are more considerations to keep in mind.
a. There are power-strips for sale everywhere, but they don't come as Surge Protector Strip unless they advertise it on the box.
b. A Surge Protector Strip will tell you how much protection you will get from the unit. Power is defined in Joules.
c. If (like me) you have owned a UPS and/or Surge Protector Strip, they lose their protective capabilities as they protect from lightning or other devices. Kind of like a catcher's mitt, which loses power from fast calls from the pitcher!

This product (Insignia 6ft Lightning to USB) has positive and negative aspects.
The main positive point is the reason wqhy this product should be in your inventory. It is as robust a cable as I have worked with. Once in place, you can expect it to stay in place when moving equipment in your media center or on your dresser table!
The good is also the main reason for the negative. I find that the cables stay in place - when they are correctly installed.
But what do you do when you need to replace a component like the receiver unit? (Done that when finished moving Receivers and A/V components.).
The most efficient replacement or addition of a new capability using these cables is to pull out the whole Man-Cave back-side, and connect the cables where you can see their location.
Working with the heavy duty data cables and returning the Man-Cave to its destination is satisfying, but also the only good way to install them safely.
Not much of a negative remark, but it’s something for tou to keep in mind.
