Great quality for a classic

Everyone has their opinions about the "trilogy" (where movies 2 and 3 are really best viewed as a single two-part sequel), including whether the arc holds up. While I think the first Matrix set an impossibly high bar, the other two still are a fun watch and make for an entertaining experience.
But most important is that this is a real 4K new scan of the original film and the quality is amazing. As is the sound (adding ATMOS over prior releases). I was worried about the CGI elements not holding up but thankfully it was not an issue. (The 2nd movie fight between Smith and Neo shows its age slightly, but was the only part that was remotely noticeable.)
The steelbook presentation is great for this release as well.

Overpriced but does what it does well

This is one of those awkward products that is hard to rate. If price is ignored, it works great. It allows me to use my very nice primary audio system in a whole-home audio setup using other Sonos devices. Easy to use with the standard array of Sonos audio sources.
But the price is really exorbitant for what it does. It clearly seems priced as a way to dissuade people from using their own speakers and encouraging them to use official Sonos speakers. Or, perhaps Sonos recognizes that people who have sunk thousands into nice speaker systems will spend the premium to be able to use those setups.

Sonos isn't perfect -- you pay a price premium and the app has its glitches. But it really is the easiest way to have whole-house audio (or room-by-room). Plus the addition of Alexa (or Google Assistant) makes it an easy replacement for Dots/Echos in rooms.
