As a fan of Stephen King's books for more than thirty years,I had high expectations for this,an adaptation of his 1986 best-seller,and I certainly wasn't disappointed. This is a top-class production,of the highest quality. The young cast who portray the members of the so-called 'Losers' Club',who are haunted by Pennywise The Clown,(a terrifyingly evil Bill Skarsgard),are all excellent in their roles,as is Skarsgard himself. The film even manages to surpass the 1990 TV miniseries.I very much look forward to the movie sequel, due in 2019.I very much hope that that will prove to be as good as this. Thoroughly excellent.

First off, I have played every COD game ever made. Also, I only play the campaign. I have seen over the last few years that as the cost of games go up, the length of the campaigns get shorter. The same goes for the Battlefield games of which I have also played all. That said, if your into the Multiplayer side, I can't comment. However, even though it was short, (5 to 6 hours) on normal play, it was enjoyable. It was good to go back to the past. To see the stories from different eyes. The same goes foe the 2 new battlefield games, 1 and V. If you are mostly into the campaigns, I suggest you wait till the game drops to at least half price as I do. Trust me on this, It's a whole lot better when it's cheaper.

I think one of the best things is that this combines some cliche themes, shots, and cheese lines in a way that I still found enjoyable. They made it work - such that where I might otherwise groan here I could nod my head and enjoy it. Just to explain that - things like the perfectly timed thunderstorm arrival for a fight, the industrial noir grunge metal vent fan behind the whiskey downing hero, and a couple action sequence comments.
The story was pretty serious, definitely not a light hearted movie. This was my first exposure to Punisher and I've started reading the comics now. After reading them, I appreciate this movie more - it's a great live action version. Thomas Jane does a great job. He's just made for gritty noir, although I loved him in Arrested Development. John Travolta... a great job, but he's got such a unique look and voice, it was a little jarring for me. Otherwise a great cast. Some great unique characters and actually quite touching story and message about family, about outcasts, and sticking together. It's a message that camaraderie is not just for soldiers, but can be found in unlikely places and outside of the service.

The Pharcyde is an amazing hiphop group, and this album in particular is jaw dropping. Every song on this album is excellent. Great rhymes/lyricism/production and a sense of humor go a long way. All the songs have a funky party feel to it and even though ive heard this album many times over the years i wont stop re-listening to it anytime soon. If you like positive funky 90s hiphop like The Roots or Tribe Called Quest, give this a listening to, you're sure to enjoy it. And if you really dig this album, also check out The Pharcydes other album Labcabincalifornia.

With my experience the cardboard/album cover is a bit flimsy to house 2 180g LPs. Standard sleeve no gatefold. That being said this press sounds amazing, and the included lyric/artwork sleeves are nice (regular poster paper). and as for A Seat At The Table-MUST OWN if you play records. So get it. Before it’s gone. Worth every penny

I've been a comic book collector for decades, and Marvel's universe, and characters have always been in my collection. I've enjoyed this movie and the Blank Panther portrayal compared to the original comics. Although there's much more to this movie than a simple film, it did inspire a movement and made more money in the box office breaking records until the Black Panther appeared again on film in the next Avengers movie of 2018. I won't add any spoilers, but this is certainly a must add to any Marvel fan's video collection.

I sold my regular version of Mortal Kombat a couple weeks ago because I had preordered this one. I knew right when I heard about this coming out that I would want it. As far as I know, it has all the characters included. I especially wanted Jason Voorhees, Alien, and Predator because I grew up watching all of those movies. I've been playing it for just a few days, but I had been playing the regular version of Mortal Kombat for several months. And I recently played Mortal Kombat like crazy on my 360. The reason why I bring that up is because the Xbox One's Mortal Kombat looks awesome. Some characters look more realistic while others not so much. Overall, the graphics are way better than the 360 - as it should be. But I didn't expect that much of a difference. Game play wise, it's just as fun as it always has been. I'm not the greatest at the games nor do I understand all that much about it, so I guess I should read up about it as it is not as straight forward for me. Anyway, great game. Good graphics. Loading times aren't bad. Oh, when I popped this into my Xbox One, it did have to "update" my Mortal Kombat X to the XL which was about 6gb. Don't plan on playing this game right when you get it - it may take a while.

The Good - Stallone gives a strong performance here and further solidifies his status as the world's most underrated actor ever. This is the first time in the series where Rambo verbalizes (I think that's a word) quite a bit. Easily the most dialogue he's ever had in a Rambo movie. The movie does a great job of keeping things tense just before things spiral out of control (as usual). The excessive gore from the last movie has returned. If you're a fan of the franchise, that's good. The story is a big step up from the previous installment giving some backstory and giving the villains a bit more character this time around. The acting across the board is solid and the directing keeps you engaged in the mayhem.
The Bad- This sequel was not necessary. The last one provided closure for the character. War seems to find Rambo so we are treated to a ruthless pile up of bodies. There was one part where I questioned the villains approach. It was something that was ignored by the script. It's minor, but it's there.
The Deal: If you're a fan of the franchise definitely check this out. This is the sequel I didn't know I wanted. The intensity, viciousness, and tragic elements are present in Stallone's performance. There is even a touch of humanity until he goes off the rails and is running around like a wild animal. The negative reviews you may hear are primarily at the film's violence. It sucks when they fool you and put excessive violence in a Rambo movie. What a curveball!! I have been entertained by every Rambo movie and this one is no exception.
Allen and Albert Hughes followed up their successful debut, Menace II Society, with the sweeping crime drama Dead Presidents. That film comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. An English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1 and a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Surround. Spanish subtitles are accessible. There are no supplemental materials of any consequence, making this Disney/Buena Vista disc difficult to recommend to anyone other than fans of the film.

Dead Presidents is a superb movie that for some reason has gone forgotten. It`s one of the most effective stories about the effects that Vietnam had on a group of friends and the world. It will stay with you long after its over. The cast is excellent especially the underrated Larenz Tate and an effective serious performance by Chris Tucker. The Hughes Brothers direction is spot on. The cinematography is fantastic giving the movie a really dark eerie look and feel that suites it perfectly. Its also full of great 60s-70s soul hits. This movie deserves a proper special edition blu ray. Its a must see

Make no mistake, Rise Of Skywalker is a blast. Is it perfect? No. Is any Star Wars film perfect? Nope- with the possible exception of Empire- but they are fun. The only expectation I have when seeing a SW film is to be entertained, and ROS delivered.
As an aside, let me just say, if you are one of those “fans” who finds himself enraged at these new films, tweeting nasty things at the cast and raging on social media about how your favorite pet fan theory wasn’t addressed, or because there are too many women and people of color in the new films, or that Rey doesn’t smile enough, or that the prequels are, in fact, great movies and the new ones are awful, then I have news for you.
Are you ready?
You don’t like Star Wars. You’re stuck on films from 40 years ago, and you can’t accept that times have changed. Maybe you prefer a time when your movie heroes all looked like you. Maybe you like the old films because of the nostalgia they fill you with for a time that seems simpler in your memory than it really was.
Someone once said, “Let the past die- kill it, if you have to.” Wise words, whatever the source.
Maybe you dislike how Disney recycles plot points from the previous films and you just prefer the daring and original ideas behind Star Wars legends books, where they cloned Palpatine and Luke became a Sith Lord until he was redeemed by his son, Ben Skywalker. Oh wait- Star Wars has been recycling plots for decades, almost as if it was inspired by the cyclical myths explained by Joseph Campbell in his book, “The Hero’s Journey.”
At any rate, you are now free to move on to another piece of intellectual property to “love”. How about Star Trek? It’s not like Star Trek embraces gender and ethnic diversity while championing a utopian future where everyone is valued equally... oh, wait. Guess you’re outta luck.
Anyway, to everyone else- Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker is a lot of fun, and a fitting conclusion to the new trilogy and the Skywalker Saga as a whole. I can’t wait to see what in store for the next movie!
