Bought the vinyl. It is awesome. Sounds great. The cover of the record is in 3D which was cool and unexpected. This album came out when I was in Middle School. It was one of the first hip-hop tapes I ever listened to on the walk-man on the bus to school. Someone's older brother copied it to a tape for me I think. This was, and still is, one of the best rap albums ever made. PE was so unique and cool at that time. Rick Rubin has his imprint on this album and you can tell because it hits hard. Had it on tape, then CD, then digital, now vinyl. Format doesn't matter. Buy.
New Jersey Drive opens with Jason (Gabriel Casseus) heading off to juvenile detention then unfolds in flashback as, chronologically, the incidents leading to his arrest surface one by one. First the audience sees his violence and poverty-ridden project; next his go-nowhere delinquent friends are introduced, as is their hobby: joy riding. Soon some of the teens, including Jason, begin to convert their hobby into a part-time job as they steal cars and sell them to a sleazy chop-shop owner for pennies on the dollar. Eventually, luck runs out when they are caught in a police sting; one boy is shot to death by the crooked Officer Roscoe (Saul Stein), who then warns Jason not to tell a soul; however, they continue stealing cars. Meanwhile, Jason beats up a neighborhood acquaintance on the playground for a slight to his sister and finds himself the target of the boy's murder attempts. The action draws to a head as both Roscoe and the vengeful boy close in.

This was a film about living and running away at the same time. If you like films about teenagers getting into trouble and living life by their own rules, until they are hit with reality. Then this film is for you! Over all the film is a good teenage gangster movie!

As many people may be confused, this Halloween movie is a direct single sequel to the original 1978 Halloween movie, ignoring all other movies n the franchise. This is a reimagining, a sequel reboot (if you will), and plays out perfectly. Halloween (2018) is both nostalgic and renewed, with Jamie Lee Curtis reprising her role of Laurie Strode 40 years later. This movie could be considered the best sequel of the franchise.

Finally, they have released a version that captures the movie's amazing visuals as they should be. The 4K HDR format allows for the colors to come through as intended. Vibrant without being artificial. My player doesn't currently support Dolby Vision, but the HDR10 format was fantastic. And my Sony A1E OLED avoided issues with "banding" (or "artificial contouring") that I've had in the past with Blu-Ray and DVD copies on other sets. I'll need to try my standard Blu-Ray copy to see if the banding goes away because of the TV or the format of the movie.
The sound was also fantastic. I did not play it on a system capable of handling the overhead sound. But what I got was incredibly engaging, and better balanced with the dialogue than I recall from other copies.
I've watched this film many times, but never since the first time I saw it has it been so engaging. My heart was actually beating pretty fast a number of times when viewing this copy tonight! I don't know if it was the improved visuals or the sound that made it so incredibly visceral this time out. Whatever it was, they've clearly finally addressed all the complaints over the years from reviewers saying they took a lazy approach with previous versions. This one seems really cleaned up, as if a lot of time and attention was given. But that's only fitting for such a popular film, and one so meticulously crafted.

With The Words Cruise And Action It's Always a Hit

Incredibly well-written and well-directed, with fantastic performances from Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, and even Henry Cavill. Even though the film is a bit on the long side, the 2+ hours fly by and leave you wanting more. The 4K Blu Ray looks and sounds great, though the IMAX portions look distractingly cleaner and sharper than the rest of the footage in the film. But this minor technical issue is no reason not to dive in and enjoy one of the best big-budget action films in years. Probably the best entry in the whole franchise!

My heart was in my mouth. There was so much action, the camera angles, the heights and scenes were so anxiety inducing. I had to turn away because it was as though the viewer was actually there at those heights and feeling those jumps, falls and leaps. The "pearl" and the technology used in it were mindblowing!!

Love the performance of this Ninja. We had a been using a Nutri Bullet and boy that thing was terrible. Finally one day it just stopped working so picked up one of these and it is night and day! This Ninja chops everything up very well and makes everything so smooth. The Nutri Bullet we have would chop up some things but not everything. It is very easy to clean. Only take a couple of minutes that is a big plus. Also love the suction cups on the bottom of the Ninja, that keeps it from moving around. Definitely would suggest this to anyone and it well worth the money. I have suggested this to three people and they all have bought it and agreed.
The only con is that it is very very loud. There is no getting around that, but that would not stop me from buying it again.

Everything is well done in this movie - and it is a fun hour and whatever. It adds nothing to the MCU universe and is inconsequential in every way. However, it is a blast and, for those of us watching every tv & movie in the recent MCU world, it is a pleasant excursion. Good acting by all involved, and, leaving aside plot, good writing. Costumes, effects, sound, lighting, makeup, direction, art direction, beginning/end credits all good. The previous movie which killed off so many, Avengers: Infinity Wars, was rather sad, whereas this is a happy happy romp. Everybody wins. Well, not so much the bad guys. I am glad I bought this - and I look forward to the next Ant Man movie.

The first Sicario was a pretty, well artistically shot, wonderfully sounding movie with amazing characters. The overall feel of the movie was something that compares to a thriller. I was drawn in constantly.
The second Sicario, although not as visually stimulating as the first movie is a very exciting movie. What feels like going from a small pet project to a AAA blockbuster this movie keeps me interested in characters, motivation, plot, dialogue. I will say this is a bit more explosiony if that makes sense. Not as visually appealing it is still an absolute must see.

While I agree that this is not the best Star Wars story and the beginning is somewhat predictable and formulaic, over all it is a fun adventure and sets the stage for more stories to bridge the gap to Ep IV. Hopefully the low margins have not killed the possibility of sequels. The film's beginning relies a little too heavily on action but quickly shifts and lets the characters drive to majority of the film. Donald Glover nails Lando and could probably carry his own film. Woody Harrelson's Beckett is fun to watch and Alden Ehrenreich captures a young Han still in the process of maturing. The rest of the supporting cast is great too. Ignore the fanboys looking for things to hate from their parents' basement. Buy/rent the film and decide for yourself.
