Jump packs are a must have in every vehicle, not just for yourself but to help out others who don’t have the foresight to carry one of these. And anything made by Anker is basically guaranteed to be of the highest quality. The carry case is great to keep the power pack and cables together. The whole unit fits nicely in one hand so it doesn’t take up a ton of space in the car. But remember to take it out about every 6 months and give it a good charge (put a reminder on your phones calendar).

Great Batman story

In general the DC animated works are superior to the live action ones, and thanks to a legacy of Bruce Timm's Batman: The Animated Series, the Batman animated films tend to be the best of all. Lately, though, we have seen a few less than stellar films in this regard. Fortunately The Long Halloween Parts 1 and 2 do not disappoint. The writing, artwork, voice acting, and music are all up to standard here. I am not familiar with the comic book this particular story is adapted from, so I cannot vouch for its faithfulness, but as a film it works very well. I hope to see more from the team behind this outing. Also, before I forget, make sure you watch to the end of the credits, if for no other reason than the music is so good. ;-)

This is the Batman I have been waiting for. I don't know the story from the comics but with Jensen Ackles as Batman, I'm on board. He has just the right voice. All of the others actors are great too. It's a little slow at first to set up the story but then it jumps into high gear. Can't wait for part 2.

A must-buy for Blade Runner fans

This edition of "Blade Runner" includes all four versions of the film (the original theatrical cut, the international theatrical cut, the 1992 director's cut, and the 2007 final cut). There are also making-of documentaries for the fans. The inclusion of the various cuts is nice for students of film as they can compare the changes and Ridley Scott's directorial intent. Unfortunately, only the 2007 final cut is up to modern high-def standards, but the others are watchable on a regular DVD player with no noticeable loss of quality. Those looking to get a copy of the original before the sequel debuts in theaters should consider this set.

Gorgeous and gritty action spectacle

This is without a doubt one of the best action movies of all time. There is gore and blood and shootouts and violence galore. You get sparkling washed out colorful slow motion scenes when characters use the drug slo-mo, that look like nothing else that has ever been put to film, truly unique and mesmerizing, and I mean that in the best way possible. The movies is at times funny, gruesome, exciting, sad, endearing, and always intense. Every member of the cast nails their performance from the villainous Lena Heady to Karl Urban's Judge Dredd all the way down to the 'clan techie' played by Dohmnall Gleason. This movie is visually stunning, non-stop ultra violence with a pulse pounding score and just enough levity to keep things from getting overwhelming. This is in my top five personal favorite films and wish it had done better at the box office so we could get a sequel.
