I purchased a 12 month Xbox Live Gold membership for the first time on Amazon a couple years ago and I love the convenience. I typically use the "Online Game Code" option which provides you with a code you enter on your Xbox or within your Xbox Live account. This allows me to make the purchase and basically instantly redeem the code on my Xbox Live account. It's great if you need to quickly start, reactivate or extend membership without waiting for a physical card to arrive in the mail or without needing to run to the store to buy one. I also like using these prepaid cards or codes to pay for Xbox Live over paying with a credit card or debit card. If you pay with a credit/debit card Microsoft typically automatically renews it when your subscription is up.

I love giving these cards to family and friends because it gets them out of the house and into community with others. My sister in law raves over the fact that my brother and his sons get to spend quality time together at Movie. I usually give Dinner and a movie gift cards also to get struggling parents out on a date and kids can bring their special friends out for a nice meal and movie without breaking their piggy bank at the theater food counter. The go to dinner first and then catch the movie on a full stomach which they enjoy rather than eating candy...

I tested these out at Best Buy, along with the new Harmon Kardon soundsticks, and though the soundsticks sounded “clearer” to me, I went with these as they were significantly less, and the difference in sound didn’t justify the price difference.
I am usually very picky when it comes to form and want something nice to look at, which is what initially turned me off about these... but the sound that comes out of them has made me appreciate these speakers so much.
The right and left speakers are solid and heavy, and they stay put wherever you put them (I have a glossy desk, and the rubber feet on the R and L speakers keep them pretty much secured to my desk. They don’t take up too much real estate and they match my keys and my monitor pretty well.
The subwoofer on the other hand... that thing is heavy... and Huge!!!
No flimsy rattly parts with these, and the speaker membranes are totally protected with a metal mesh.
Now the sound... I downloaded an eq app to pass my sound through, and I am infinitely pleased with the results. I can control 31 levels and the speakers handles each one flawlessly, the bass is never distorted, the highs are crystal clear, and these speakers are just about the best speakers I have ever tried that aren’t studio monitors.

10/10, if you want eviction grade bass, these will get you your five day notice. If you want your eyes to roll to the back of your head while you listen to trap, this is your thing right here. If you want to get ptsd from playing Doom, this will help you achieve that goal.

I guys I was using pioneer BDP -170 which was a great Bluray player but it was not having Netflix and the streaming speed was bit slow , so I thought of upgrading to Sony BDP -6700 .
Pros -
1. great picture quality .
2. Streaming speed is good .

4. If you have a 4k TV , the upscaling from FHD to 4k is really good .

I loved the ludicrous cartoonish violence and the colorful villains. Looney Bin Jim is a brilliant creation and I really couldn't help rooting for him. The movie wastes none of your time on corny romance, contrived self-serious angst, or other things people don't ask for when they are in the mood to watch a movie like this. Instead, this film delivers over-the-top outrageous fantasy violence from start to finish, only taking a few breaks for scenery-chewing acting and hilarious dialogue. If you're a fan of all that, this film's got some really memorable scenes for you.

Another great DCU movie for the teenage/adult view

I have really been liking the new DC animated movies that have been coming out over the past couple years, I think they do an exceptionally good job on the Batman movies. When this one came out I had to pick it up.
For those not aware, or that savvy, when it comes to the Batman Comics(myself included) this movie is based upon the pivotal and epic graphic novel/run of Batman comics, with the same title, written by the renowned Frank Miller (Sin City, 300, ...etc) . I personally have not read the entire collection, but it is pretty well known that this story, released in the mid to late 1980's, was one of the pivotal works, that brought Batman back into the public eye, and really helped to re-define the character. After this story was released, the "Adam West Batman" of the 1960s was finally set to rest, and the gritty/dark Batman mythos took the forefront in public's mind. This story set the stage for the Tim Burton films, and their dark setting. In addition, this story was released at the time where comic books were making their shift from child to more mature audiences: this story solidified that.

This is the most definitive version of the film you will get as of now. They did an amazing job with the transfer and didn't go crazy at all with the DNR. You still see a slight touch of film grain here and there which is a good thing. The HDR is solid and the does job, especially with the muzzle flash on guns. What's amazing is the audio switching. If you listen to the English track with subtitles and then switch to the Japanese audio, the subtitles change as well. That is an amazing touch right there. Overall with all the extras and the audio commentary this package is amazing for the price.
Keep in mind that the digital code is for VUDU and Fandango(In case you didn't know about Lionsgate, Paramount & MGM not being part of MoviesAnywhere)

I was one of the people that woke up early on the day Akira first arrived on DVD, only to be sorely disappointed that there was a new English dub upon getting home and putting it in my player. The old dub was a relic from my childhood, fading away on my VHS copy bootlegged from a Blockbuster rental. I even ended up buying a Laserdisc player to get Akira in the English dub I remembered...
So here it is, in all it's corny glory! Sounding better than ever! Plus I get to brush up on my Japanese with the original sound! There's also the new dub for people who can tolerate Kaneda being pronounced "Canada" and the crap new voice cast with no emotion (I feel nauseous just thinking about it. Screw you, English Vash!), if that's your thing...
Plus, all the extras are here! I love the score documentary :)

This is the real deal ultimate controller! I use this controller with the Xbox one s and it runs very smooth. The plastic casing is coated in a grippy, soft texture which adds some comfort when used for a long time. Triggers and joysticks are smooth and silent, and the buttons bounce back in place unlike cheap controllers I have used in the past. It is fast and efficient and is worth the money! Just take note that the X, A, B, and Y buttons are the same color. This might be a little confusing to new users because the regular remote uses colored buttons. That being said, at least they put the traditional colors of the buttons between the X, A, B, and Y buttons for guidance.
