Is the usb6400m compatable with linux os
I use this on a Windows notebook, but I’m sure it will work with other operating systems. Just plug it in and it should download the appropriate software. Hope it works for you

Will this adapter connect my tv to my router to make it a smart tv? My LG LW5700 tv already has all the smart tv options on the remote
This adapter will receive both 2.4 and 5.0 ghz. I want just plug it into your tv and check the settings on your tv to see if it works. If your tv is a smart tv, I would think it already is WiFi enabled, you would just go to settings and log on. If that’s the case and your tv might only have 2.4ghz and not 5.0ghz, by adding this device you would be able to get 5.0ghz
