Joker is a fine movie with a, predictably, great Phoenix performance. It's very obvious where this movie pulled most of its ideas from and those are better movies to watch. But you could do worse than this this year. Pretty darn violent in the third act, but you're probably expecting that with this character.

You can certainly think this is a Christmas movie...it does take place at Christmas...but no matter where you fall on that one, Alan Rickman is a boss. Not the best movie, but it's worth a watch.
