Yes it is compatible. The Bamboo Ink works with both Wacom Active ES protocol and Microsoft pen protocol (MPP) and per HP the laptop is compatible with active pens. My son currently uses the Bamboo Ink on an HP Envy X360 13 inch model and it works perfectly.
