Still stands the test if time, comedy & horror

I loved this movie when it first came out, seen it so often over the years on TV ( cut version of course) most I think we're just beginning their careers too and yet were so good. Alot if bonuses with this movie which was my reason to buy and own the movie to watch it in the original version.

So happy it was NOT musical movie

After waiting so long for disc to be available , I watched same day it was delivered ( at ti.e best buy used a company called : SHIPTI hope I have spelling right. It arrived next day ) and because of that I order EVERY FORMAT. I cried for Mulan and really cheered when she conquered the enemy, she even turned the bad lady to her side. For women movie is empowering. Such beautiful locations or scenes and best of all NO breaking out in songs, it was a really storytelling with characters who moved you.

Catherine (Moore) and David (Neeson), she a doctor, he a professor, are at first glance the perfect couple. Happily married with a talented teenage son, they appear to have an idyllic life. But when David misses a flight and his surprise birthday party, Catherine's long simmering suspicions rise to the surface. Suspecting infidelity, she decides to hire an escort to seduce her husband and test his loyalty. Catherine finds herself 'directing' Chloe's encounters with David, and Chloe's end of the bargain is to report back, the descriptions becoming increasingly graphic as the meetings multiply.

And I was surprised by the ending, kinda thought it would go in a different direction.
Juliana Moore is fantastic and believable.
For men also very sexy parts of Amanda who's character is NOT SHY.
I really wanted a blu-ray copy but DVD was only format I could find.

The bonuses were really great. Both Jean Claude and Dolph were so young looking. I remember when all the soldiers did so many other action movies.
Best was the comedy that was so subtle it seemed adlibbed.
Remaking or re-released movies in 4k are so great, I believe they are better quality than the theaters.

I did see this movie in the theater when it first came out.
The 4k is so great on a 4k large Sony TV and surround sound speaks it was like seeing it in the theater again. I really loved the story line ( I had forgotten the police officer was his brother) . 4k is really WORTH THE PRICE especially when they are on sale.

Great eye opening story about the human losss

I saw the ending of few times on TV.
So I know we I wanted to see this movie with the best cimatogrphy,
And with the excellent price it really was worth it.
Pete berg is one if my most favorite directors and mark Wahlberg one of my favorite actors.
The 1 thing they said about the reason the did this was to show the 'HUMAN LOSSES ' NOT JUST THE ECOLOGICAL DISASTER, which is true that was all I remembered from the news: worst BP disaster in history at that time and not much else was highlighted or talked about then.
I admit I cried so much as soon as the first guys on the deck got hurt and until the end.
So I know we I wanted to see this movie with the best cimatogrphy,

I thought the little neon characters showing on the cover were ghosts, but they are unattached souls.

I saw this movie back in 1999 after it was out awhile.
It was good then, BUT after watching it again ( as an older person now, and also after watching the movie ' The devil takes a holiday ' ( I think that was title, I don't own that 1 )
I REALLY REALLY loved Anthony Hopkins part so much more. I have always thought of him as a perfect for any part type guy, but here he is subtle MOST of the time but every time it is on screen he really steals all the attention and my heart.
The movie does center around brad Pitt who is also a great actor and really brings this character to life and makes you believe he is experiencing things for the first time, but you really feel for him and brad Pitt is the one making you feel that way.
My favorite line by Anthony Hopkins: 65 years don't they go by in a blink. I cried ESPECIALLY from that part to the end.
Even if you've seen this movie, it is a MUST OWN.

I just bought this movie which came out or was made in apx year of 2011 according to dust jacket/ cover art.
I cried alot but also felt good about the progress that has been made over the years to check for and 'beat ' breast cancer. Just the message these women are trying to get across with this film is so important along with the help it may give people who have cancer or families of them.
I really thought it was well done with all the stories brought TOGETHER by the character of ' Pearl ' . All five stories are FANTASTIC and show how DIFFERENT women and men handle breast cancer diagnosis.
It is really uplifting and SHOULD appeal to EVERYONE who buys and watches this movie.
