Does this need a blower as well?
There is a motor you will need to purchase with this item. If the duct work is coming from the ceiling, depending on how low you want the hood to hang above the gas range will determine whether or not you will need to purchase the trim which usually mounts at the underside of ceiling to cover the 10in duct work.
