Love the movie, but this doesn't really have the look of a 4K transfer. I'm not sure if it was remastered, or just up sampled to create the 4K version but it's not overly impressive... grainy like the 40 year old film original would likely be.

This works great. Besides just being an UHD Blu-Ray player, the front USB port will also work with external hard drives. I rip my DVD and Blu-Ray collection down to hard drive for convenience, and I can attach my USB hard drive to the front port and watch the DVDs and BluRays through this player. The USB port on my TV will *not* support USB hard drives, only flash drives, so this was a nice discovery that this player works with USB hard drives.

Love ALMOST everything about this TV. Setup, picture, build quality, built in apps, ability to play wide array of video formats from USB, etc.
However there is one issue that could be a showstopper.
I play a fair amount of PS4 on the TV, and it will periodically blink the screen off for a short period. Maybe 1/2 second. Not a problem for strategy type games but could cause issues with action games. I can't tell for sure, but when it comes back on after the flash, the contrast *appears* to be different. Maybe it's struggling with HDR data on some games or the way the PS4 sends it.
I've updated the TV to current level and rebooted. I haven't tried an exhaustive list of video settings to determine where the problem is, but it seems to occur regardless of Picture setting (calibrated, vivid, game, etc.).
Hopefully Vizio support sees this and is able to find a product fix to issue in the next update. Otherwise, this may have to go back.

Nice watch for the price, but....

So here's the deal... I like this watch for the price but it has a few shortcomings. First, the battery life could be longer... Can be tough to get a full day out of the watch. I get a lot of notifications on my phone and with the watch letting me know about all of them with a buzz, it killed the battery in half a day. I turned off all but essential notifications for the watch and it does MUCH better, but still tends to drain faster than I would've expected.
Second, when you "shake to wake" to activate the full watch face (most faces have full and dimmed versions which may differ in the amount of content provided), the full face only stays on for I believe 3 seconds, which is too short to orient your eyes to the watch and find the info you're looking for. I do not believe there is a native way to extend that but I am researching to find an app which gives some flexibility there.

UPDATE: The sync / flashing problem I encountered was being caused by an old HDMI cable that obviously could not keep up with the throughput. Swapped it out with a new high speed cable and the problem went away! 5 stars now!

Can this player be updated like the wifi model?
Yes it can. I have mine attached to a wireless ethernet port.

I just updated to an xbox one x. Is there a specific HDMI port I should use for Gameplay? I can see the Xbox home screen fine, but when I enter a game the screen goes green jumps betweem HDR/HDR10. Did I miss a setting? No manual was provided w/ TV.
Are you using a high end, high speed HDMI cable? Or the one you used with your old TV? I was having all kinds of problems with my PS4 on this TV til I replaced my HDMI cable. Didn't think that could matter that much but it sure did for me... completely solved my problem.
