I saw it in the theater first. I really enjoyed it. I thought it was well written and acted. I rank this movie with the first Captain America and Ironman movies. It is a good story. It holds your attention from beginning to end.

I never watched the series when it originally aired. But when I saw the movie Serenity I decided I needed to watch the series. It is a very good sci fi series. The cast is great and it is well written.

I thought the story was a bit too convoluted. The acting was good and the story was for the most part was good. For some reason it just did not live up to my expectations of Disney and the theme.
