Absolute necessity if you’ll be video calling

I the the echo show but it points upward normally so for video calling, your head is near the bottom of the frame. It’s pretty useless without this stand. The stand doesn’t give a ton of pivot travel, but enough that I’m able to make video calls and adjust the screen so my head is in view. Otherwise people will be looking at your forehead.

We have the Apple TV as well but I like the roku better. The best feature is the voice command which they both have but it is much more seamless on the Roku. Tell it what you want to watch and it shows the options for viewing whereas Apple makes you click through a bunch of screens and never actually opens the movie you asked for.
