Decided to upgrade an older, smaller tv in the living room and this was the selection. Wanted to Roku native device since all the TVs in the house are Roku. Despite its size it is relatively light. Once connected, I used the ARC connection to allow for control of a stereo receiver that also supports ARC. NOTE: Make sure the HDMI cable you are using supports ARC. The one I had connected to the old TV did not so I did have to upgrade the cable but it is well worth it. Picture quality is crystal clear. The QLED is definitely a step up from the previous TV.

Decided to upgrade my video card after holding onto it for about 12 years. A 2GB Nvidia that it was time to move on from. I don't do a lot of gaming and honestly have a hard time to noticing the difference between the high-end and low end newer cards other than price. Wanted to get something that had plenty of memory and I could hold onto for awhile. This card shows very clear graphics, is very quiet and can be configured if you don't like the default settings.

Purchased this to replace an older smaller NVMe drive. I was looking forward to the increase in drive performance. The old drive maxed out at about 1600MB/s while these peak at 7100MB/s. You will need to make sure your processor supports a Gen4 drive to get the max speed. Mine is a Gen3 which means it limits the speed to about 3400MB/s. Even with that, its still double what I had and I can definitely tell the difference when starting apps.

Found a simple solution to replacing a failed ethernet adapter. Maybe I was luck but all I did was plug this in and within seconds, I was able to connect to the network. Did not have to install a thing! Speed wise I think it might be faster than the wired adapter that failed.

After having two of my original fans fail, I opted for these Corsair fans. I'm not a gamer but thought these looked cool. Installation is extremely simple and used one USB header on the motherboard. The iCUE software that comes with the fans lets you play with colors and animations. I spent an afternoon just playing around with it. You can even program the fans individually! I have two on time warp (cool feature) and one on a different setting.

I have an older 5.1 Bose system will my existing Subwoofer work with this receiver?
Without knowing exactly which system of speakers it’s hard to say exactly. However, the receiver has connections for subwoofers independent from the other channels. Plus the front, middle and rear and center channel so you should be able to connect the existing speakers and still have two that can be used later.
