Pros: Amazing films, picture is sharp, terrific sound, lots of extras.
Cons: No Theatrical version included. The Extended Edition means each film is split between 2 discs, just like the old dvds. (Hey New Line: having to swap discs in the middle of the movie is annoying!) The Appendices and featurettes are in standard definition and spread across 9 discs! (If they're in such a low-density data format, all of the extras could have easily fit onto a single-layer blu-ray disc.) The packaging is a bit lackluster, compared to the dvd Extended Editions. (And for some reason, these standard blu-ray discs are all in black 4K cases.)
