The cable works and carries a 4k signal, but it's pretty expensive. The Best Buy Essentials version works just as well and is only 1/3 the price. This cable is also pretty thick and inflexible, so if your entertainment center set-up has tight spaces or difficult angles, this probably isn't the best cable option.

It has built-in wifi for streaming, but the selection of apps Sony offers is pretty limited and out-of-date...best just to use your smart tv or streaming devices for watching streaming content.
