Airplay works amazing, pretty simple to setup. I just followed my old receiver as the guide and went 1 by 1 with taking the speaker wire out of the old and into the new. The interface looks old but nevertheless it's a good receiver thus far.

Whatever your AC/Heat was on when you got out the car will come on again once you remote start the car. I’m not sure about the defrost part because I have a 2012 Accent and you have to manually turn on the defrost to work but it’s summertime currently so I haven’t had a chance to use defrost since I got this system. Hope this helps!
