I have no complaints on the quality and also own a couple Klipsch 10's that don't disappoint either.
I'm sure if I went with an SVS or REL sub - it would be a night and day comparison. But if you find this sub on sale, there really is nothing better at the price.

Great Receiver but Went with Yamaha

I had to return this receiver. I was having issues with the HDMI ARC switching to the device that I turned on. This seems to be a common Denon issue.
Returned for a Yamaha RX-A2A and I have no regrets. I am using it more for music so I appreciate Yamaha's warmer sound vs. Denon's theater sound.
