The unit itself is excellent quality. Very durable. However, I have a NUDE life case on and the conductivity is a bit off. The phone needs to be placed properly on the unit to start charging.

Waterproof failed again.....

I ruined my iphone 7s using a Nuud in the past. The rubber seal on the volume switch leaked and took on saltwater.
I wanted to give it another try as I recently purchased an 8 plus and wanted protection. I did the water test prior to using the case with my phone. I came out of the river and there was water inside the case..... again..... Furthermore, I think the case muffles your mic when you're talking....
