I bought this as a gift for a loved one. As of the time I write this, she loves this tv. It is a definite upgrade from her old tv and the beautiful 4k screen and 120hz refresh rate makes everything feel nice and snappy. I have to mention the packing job was very impressive. It was done with such care that it took longer to unpack then to actually set it up.
Since it is a smart tv, it has alot of different apps to download and try. The included voice activated remote is a nice feature, but it ended up being turned off (thanks to the slider on the side) since they mention it is always listening. She prefers to just hold the talk button in and speak her demand. The sound quality is fine. They really can't do too much about that with the tv's being so thin nowadays.

A fun and challenging time

This game has been called a Soul's-like, but it is a bit more nuanced than that. There are areas in each level where you can rest. If you chose to do so, the enemies you have slain will respawn. But, should the player choose to fight them again, upon winning you gain valuable exp to improve your abilities. Plus, since there are actual difficulty settings, I would not classifiy this game as a true Soul's-like. Even on the stadard difficulty, it can be tough, but once I changed my strategy and was more focused on when to dodge or block, it became more manageable.
One thing that irks me is fighting more than one enemy at a time can be frustrating as the combat system really is meant for one v one fights. Once you start a combo, you have to see it through, no canceling mid-way to block or dodge. If you could, that would have made fighting multiple enemies easier.

For folks that bought a PS5 silm digital and want to upgrade it to play physical media, this will work fine. Yeah, it is a bit loud during the first 15-20 seconds of reading the disc, but after that, it's fairly quiet. Also, it is nice to know that if your PS5 silm's disc drive fails, this is a easy to install replacement.
Those of you that bought a PS5 pro (like me) will be upset because this should have been included with the device. For that reason alone, I have to drop a star off this review. So, it depends on what your situation is.

A colassal disappointment

As of 2-8-2026, my review of this unit is based on the fact it will not play every 4k blu-ray. If the disc has the "Dolby Vision Atmos" symbal on it, it will not display a picture. You will still get sound for whatever that is worth. I was getting so frustrated wondering why some 4k movies worked and others did not until I called Best Buy's tech support.
If Panasonic releases a firmware update that fixes this issue, great. If not, buyer beware. This is not worth the plastic it is made from in it's current state.

I dig it, so far. I'll need to spend more time with it before i can make a more informed decision but it's off to a good start. It is ridiculous that Sony advertised this as a premium console (they certainly charged enough money to make it so) but they were too cheap to include a disc drive. I almost did not want to buy this and just go with PS5 slim. I changed my mind when i remembered how my PS4 pro lasted 8 years (and counting), so I'm gonna gamble on thid lasting me 8 years, too.

Not quite what was advertised

So far, I give this item 3 stars. It advertised 7400mb read speeds, but after i installed it in my PS5 pro, the read speed was nearly 1000mb slower. I removed it and reinstalled it, formatted it twice, but it still will not hit the advertised speed. This is disappointing to say the least. From the research I did, this issue may be resolved if the firmware is updated, but that requires buying additional hardware which I am not willing to do.
