Great with a few easily corrected flaws

This is my second Samsung refrigerator. Both are solid providing even cooling and a logical efficient layout. This model is counter-depth, giving me a sleeker kitchen. I really have not even noticed the reduction in storage capacity from the refrigerator it replaced. I learned in my first week of ownership, however, that the internal pitcher that automatically fills with water and provides an infuser for making cold-brewed tea and fruit flavored water IS NOT DISHWASHER SAFE. It melted in its first encounter with the dishwasher, and I did not have my dishwasher on its hottest setting. There was no warning in the manual or on the pitcher itself. I contacted the general number for Samsung customer support (not in the manual), and a representative agreed to send a replacement, which I have not yet received. My other complaint is that the ice dispenser tends to spew ice cubes and crushed ice everywhere, even when you hold the cup close to the top of the dispenser. I do like the size of the dispenser, which accommodates larger cups, thermoses, and pitchers.

Impressed by this machines ability to get large loads clean and its ability to keep its balance even with bulky items like bed spreads. Yes, the cycles are long, but who doesn't parallel task when doing laundry?

Long cycles, good results.

I have not had this item long enough to comment on its reliability, but I have not had any problems so far. I have noticed that this dryer has much longer cycles than the dryer it replaced, but I am convinced that it is drying at lower temperatures, perhaps with less energy overall, certainly with less wear-and-tear on my clothes. Clothes emerge thoroughly dry and barely warm - which I judge to be a good thing.
