Great device

I originally bought the surface laptop 2 because it was a little cheaper. Then the surface pro 6 went on sale so I decided to exchange it.
This device is nice with a solid build quality. I picked up a keyboard with it and it works very well. The screen resolution is great, it supports connecting to my big 4k monitor at 60 hertz. I use a bluetooth mouse and have no connectivity issues. I also picked up the surface dock and I do recommend it. It makes it so easy to connect it at home to an external display and keyboard via the power port thing.

Pretty good device

I bought this because I didn't want to keep plugging things into the USB and mini-display port on my surface pro 6. It connects via the power port (or whatever microsoft calls it). This is nice because it all my devices magnetically attach to it instead of constantly having to plug and unplug things when I want to dock it to my monitor and keyboard.
This supports 4k @ 60 hertz via display port using one additional monitor with no issues.
My only complaint is that sometimes I need to unplug and re-plug my keyboard into the hub so it is recognized. I think it is an issue with the dock.
I also recommend updating it to the latest firmware when you get it. I see people with bad reviews of this product and I read somewhere that you need to update the firmware. Just google how to do it. It is pretty simple.

I am impressed with this keyboard. It locks into place very easily. You can put it in 2 different positions. It seems to provide ample protection to the device. Love the look and feel.

Worth the upgrade

I had a Apple Watch series 2 and was happy with it but always felt there could be so much more. Apple did a good job with this upgrade. I think the biggest thing is how much better the screen is while being only slightly larger. I can’t wait for the ECG function. That should be pretty cool although probably unnecessary for most.

Can I connect second monitor and have extended view?
Yes. I connect mine to a 4k display at 60 hertz. There is a website out there somewhere that shows the max refresh rate at various resolutions and if you have 1 or 2 external displays. I did have to use mini-display port to display port to get the 60 hertz. I don't think laptops with HDMI can carry 4k @ 60 hertz, or at least I couldn't figure it out and my monitor supports HDMI 4k @ 60 hertz.
