The fans themselves are great. The software to run the control box is where buyers need to be aware of. If you are on a Ryzen cpu the software will run into an error that doesn't allow you interact with the software ui to change fan settings. There are a few different "fixes" that other user included myself have to use to get it to work.

Expensive? That’s irrelevant. Are 2 door cars more expensive than 4 door cars? Yes it is, but worth it. Competes with all other 3060’s. Thermals are good, very small form makes it ideal and I get ~37mh/s from it.

The price is absolutely relevant. This discrete budget end card cost as much as a whole PS5. The 3060 is the budget end of the series and as such should be around $240 like the previous series were.

I spent a long time watching performance reviews and waiting for one of these cards to finally be cheaper. Finally I found one in store for $319 and grabbed it.
It does a great job running games on their own. Thats the problem, though. If you run other programs, youtube, netflix. etc the video stream will stutter horribly and the game will also stutter a bit even though it shows 60fps.

I'm incredibly disappointed in this card. My old gtx 1060 3g. THREE GIG card was able to do all of that without issue and still maintained 40 to 50 fps.
Ill be returning this card and just going back to my old 1060 3g until the end of time I guess.
