Originally James Cameron was set to direct but then he decided to tackle the huge task of the multi sequel to Avatar. His follow up to his 2nd biggest blockbuster ever, which was beat out by Avengers: Endgame (Yay!!!) Anyhoo, Rodriguez stepped up to direct this interesting story based on the successful manga series. Personally I felt the end was a bit rushed and should have been a trilogy. Still the talent totally shines, with amazing CGI and mind-blowing 3D!!! Thank God Cameron loves 3D and insisted this be released i this format!!!
