I bought my wife a iPhone 12MaxPro and a Defender Case. This thing wont even charge it with the case on. a $15 wireless charger I bought 2 years ago will though. Still contemplating whether to return it, but I am using the 20V Apple Charger, I had to purchase into the MagSafe Charger, just to make it work, as it doesn't come with a power source. $60 all in, for a mediocre charger. Disappointing Apple... Disappointing...

Has to be a 4k player to play 4k disks, This also comes with Blue-Ray disks, so you are good to watch with your Dad's bluray player

Using Alexa with the 700, can it access VUDU and Netflix that is currently set up through apps on the TV?

If I hook this up using the HDMI/ARC , will my existing speaker and sub woofer running through my receiver still work?
There is only an ARC input to the Soundbar, which will come from the TV. I guess if you have that input coming from your receiver and your receiver to you TV you would have audio through your existing speakers, but I expect it will not sould very good, and there is no way to calibrate the soundbar to work with traditional speakers.
